We’re excited to announce that for the second year running we will be hosting a display of purpose built track day machinery. From out and out racers to custom built track cars, the display aims to showcase the weird and the wonderful.
The lightweight machinery will be covered by the likes of the Caterham 620R, while genuine race cars come in the form of a Renault Clio Mk1 and Mk3 Cup cars.
Models from the ‘golden era’ of saloon car racing such as the Astra GTE, Golf GTI and Escort Cosworth share paddock space with sports car heroes like the Lotus Elise and the Caterham 7.
We relive some ‘00s performance milestones in the form of greats like the Honda Integra Type R DC5 and the Subaru Impreza before pushing onto pastures new with the new school of track day machinery. The purpose, custom built track cars come in the form of a Porsche Cayman S “GT3”, a Fiesta XR2i Turbo and E46 M3, all of which have been kitted out with no expense spared to perform best on track.
Topping the performance tree and representing the track day enthusiast with somewhat deeper pockets are some genuine supercars such as the 911 GT3 RS.
Mixed in between these will be some truly special and unique track cars built entirely for fun. With more cars being confirmed all the time, check back to find out what’ll be on display during the lead up to the event.
